Aix Island, a small, unspoilt island accessible only by boat, has removed all its rubbish bins to preserve its environment.

All visitors are asked to take their rubbish home with them... and not to throw anything into the water.

The sea is not a dustbin.

Without rubbish, the island is more beautiful

We are delighted to welcome you to an island with an exceptional natural heritage.

This is a fragile territory, and you are invited to take the greatest care of it during your stay.

We ask you to respect the protected areas by avoiding cycling or walking on the dunes, and to take all your rubbish home and sort it.
